Neha K who has pursued her BSc in Interior Design and Decoration from JD School of Design presented her design Elysian at JD Design Awards. It is a setting rich in beauty, imagination, and divinity. The designer found her tranquilly in temples because it was tough for her to acclimatise to Bengaluru’s fast-paced lifestyle. The designer was fascinated by it and learned that temples were constructed on specific magnetic field lines, which attract a lot of good energy to the area. This is what inspired her to honour Hoysala temples.

Hoysala temples included elements of both Dravidian and Nagara temple architecture. Elysian received the Best Methodology Award from JD Design Awards 2023.
