NEOBUGS – Shubh Utsav – JD Design Awards 2024

Inspired by most vibrance of the Navaratri festival, our collection rejoices in the meaning of Navaratri: ‘nine nights, a festival dedicated to the worship of the goddess Durga, celebrating her victory over evil.”. Each day of Navratri is associated with a different form of Durga and a specific colour representing various aspects of her divine nature and the universal energy that she possesses within herself. We reflected the seven potent chakras of Durga Devi with the nine colours representative of each day that embody divine energy and strength. MOODBOARD

ILLUSTRATIONS & BOARD

The word ‘Navaratri’ in Sanskrit means ‘nine nights’. Navaratri celebrates the triumph of good over evil with the worship of goddess Durga.

Every day of Navratri has a particular colour and form of Durga associated with it, depicting varied shades of her divinity and the universal energy she manifests. It was, therefore, an attempt to depict the seven powerful chakras of Durga Devi through the nine colours used for illustrating each day, which shows divine energy and strength.

Our festive wear collection is bedecked with a futuristic theme, embroidery using threads of radium, and light fabrics instead of conventional mirrors and threads with heavy material. By using threads of radium and light fabrics, the look to the future in this range not only does the trick but also ensures that our garments are adaptive to wear. It’s this innovative twist that gives it a touch of modernity and uniqueness among the rest.

The shining effect of the radium threads forms a radiating visual appeal behind the scenes perfect for those people who seek change in them and look for modern style. It is unisex as every design created caters to everyone’s needs and can be worn by one and all.
