Co-Working Office – A Tribute To Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

The choice of a Co-working office was influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has impacted the traditional work culture and has led to an increase in remote work and co-working spaces. With more people choosing to work from home or remotely, co-working spaces have become a popular alternative to traditional office spaces, offering users the flexibility and amenities needed to work effectively. The Chatrapati Shivaji Co-working Space project aims to create a space that caters to the needs of modern-day workers while also paying tribute to the personality of Chatrapati Shivaji.

The design incorporates elements that reflect the personality of Chatrapati Shivaji while also providing a functional and inspiring workspace for users. The co-working space design includes private meeting rooms, communal work areas, and quiet zones for focused work, catering to the needs of different users. The space is designed to encourage collaboration and creativity while also providing a sense of privacy and security for users. Overall, the Chatrapati Shivaji Co-working Space project aims to address the changing work culture and provide a space that meets the needs of modern-day workers while paying tribute to the personality of Chatrapati Shivaji. The design characteristics derived from research into the personality of Chatrapati Shivaji are reflected in the interior design styles used in the project, creating a unique and inspiring space for users. The project Co-Working Space was presented at JD Design Awards by Barkha Rohra. The designer has pursued her MSc in Interior Design from JD School of Design.
