Atelier – A monthly digital newsletter by the students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Cochin was launched on World Environment Day, June 5th 2021. The objective for the creation of the newsletter is to explore, educate and bring focus towards sustainable steps adopted by different fashion companies as well as interior designers.

The content for Atelier has been created by the students of BSc. in Fashion Design & Apparel Management, Post-Graduate Diploma in Fashion Design & Business Management, Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design and Diploma in Interior Design.

Each month the newsletter will work around a theme and the content will be curated accordingly. The theme for the first edition of Atelier was World Environment Day.

Layout designing for the fashion edition was handled by Mrs. Manju Mohan, Faculty – Dept. of Fashion Design and for interior design was handled by Mrs. Sonima Surendran, Faculty – Dept. of Interior Design. The team coordination and editing was handled by Ms. Sakeena Naureen, Faculty of Fashion Design. The tireless effort by students and all faculties is the success behind this huge acceptance they received on first edition.

Atelier – The first edition was done by Film actress Ms. Anarkali Marikar through her social media handle (Instagram) on June 5th 2021.
