Knowledge Session with JD Mentor and Designer Par Excellence – Mr. Mannoviraj Khosla

We are proud to have designer extraordinaire and a force to reckon with in the world of fashion, Mr.Mannoviraj Khosla, as the mentor for our students. His designs boast of bold, chic and trendy collection. Immaculate tailoring and a firm attention to detail along with constant experimentation are the hallmarks of his brand. Mr. Khosla comes with 29 years of solid experience Which comprises of his  namesake label  and having showcased his work at the prestigious India Fashion Week, Bangalore Times Fashion Week etc. Taking time out of his busy schedule, he dedicated exclusive knowledge session for the students of Fashion Design at our Brigade Road Centre from 11^th September – 19^th September 2019.

With years of experience and a name to reckon with in the field of fashion, we are proud to have someone of his caliber as our Mentor, to help guide our students in the direction of their dreams.

Through these knowledge sessions, Mr. Manoviraj Khosla presented some of his past and current collections. He guided the students through some of the techniques used in his collections and encouraged them to think out of the box. In his presentation, he showcased his work wherein he has played with an array of fabrics ranging from cotton, organza, silk, linen, leather, suede, wools, velvet and denim. Mr. Khosla, guided them about infusing various textures and treatments to produce exceptional, original designer wear. He added that his clientele is as diverse as his work. Apart from creating pret and couture orders, he also undertakes work for clients ranging from corporate houses, hotels, airlines and private yachts.

Mr. Khosla also encouraged the students to constantly explore and experiment with different techniques, which has helped him in good stead. He concluded his session by advising students to not fall back on past laurels, but to constantly experiment in order to stay relevant and explore their creative genius to produce work that stands out.
