JD School of Design’s Creative Triumph: Dressing the Stars of Mr., Miss, and Mrs. Astrid 2023
In the world of design, there are moments that shine brighter than the rest, moments that fill us with immense pride. JD School of Design powered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology had the distinct honour of having the budding fashion design students’ work showcased on the glamorous stage of Mr., Miss., and Mrs. India 2023, an event organized by Page3Artist on 10th September 2023 at RG Royal Hotels. Apart from showcasing talent, the institute was also the Designer and Education Partner for the event.
The Power of Collaboration:

The opportunity to collaborate with Page3 for the Mr., Ms., and Mrs. India 2023 was a testament to this commitment to excellence and innovation.
A Moment of Pride:
The moment the fashion design students’ creations graced the stage, it was a surreal experience. The energy, anticipation, and sheer elegance of the pageant participants brought the designs to life. Seeing the work of the budding designers adorning the remarkable models was a moment of pure pride.
Fashion Design Collections on showcase:
Formal Flourish designed by fashion designers Pooja Jain and Pooja P Jain, paid tribute to Motherhood through pregnancy. The garments are formal maternity wear for working women that are adjustable and can be worn before, throughout, and after pregnancy, ensuring maximum wearability for the customer.
Pertinacious designed by A Allison Gomes and Vuyyala Pooja paid tribute to Satish Gujral, an Indian modern artist, architect, muralist, painter, sculptor, and interior designer. The collection tried to capture his life and various professions through silhouettes and colors.
Agna designed by Aishwarya B, Bhavya G and Aastha Jain paid tribute to Navagunjara. The collection was a representation of draping in ancient India, where each drape has the essence of elegance, power, and knowledge.
The Magic of Design:
Design is not just about aesthetics; it’s about storytelling. Each stitch, each fabric choice, and each detail told a story of artistry, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence. It showcased how design has the power to elevate moments, capture hearts, and leave a lasting impact.
