Aurora of Valor by Christy James

BSc in Fashion Design & Garment Management

Aurora of Valor” collection is designed by Christy James, student from BSc in Fashion Design & Garment Management at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Kochi and winner of “Best Design Collection” Award, celebrates an innovative fashion collection that seamlessly blends the elegance of ancient Roman draping with contemporary draping techniques, creating silhouettes that evoke both grace and strength.

Inspired by the legendary archangel St. Michael, who is known as protector, warrior, and divine sentinel—Aurora of Valor is an avant-garde Spring/Summer 2025 collection that channels the spirit of spiritual resilience and radiant power. Revered across Christian, Jewish, and Islamic traditions, St. Michael is often depicted in battle-ready armor, sword in hand, triumphing over darkness. This collection reimagines that celestial force through the lens of divine femininity.

Rooted in themes of courage, clarity, and inner strength, Aurora of Valor invites women to embody the unwavering spirit that rises in the face of adversity. Each garment is a wearable invocation—a sacred pause in time where vulnerability meets valor, and grace stands firm against resistance.
