Balku Bhans is a project that pays tribute to Neelam Manjunath who is also known as the Bamboo Lady of India. It was presented at JD Design Awards by Manoj C who pursued his MSc in Interior Design from JD School of Design. He has designed a courtyard house keeping bamboo as a pioneer material with other sustainable materials giving an aesthetic and pleasing look to the space and introducing new kinds of furniture and designs.

Balku Bhans received the Best Sustainable design Award from the JD Design Awards.
