The interaction with nature, which is essential to human development and well-being, has been completely compromised. Through the transformation and destruction of the natural world, people are less exposed to nature. In the current urbanization, the workplaces’ plans were made to oblige more individuals and produce more work, yet they didn’t consider what the indoor climate meant for their representatives. As a result, the designer thought of designing a biophilic interior design studio that would serve as a conduit for connection. The designer wanted to raise awareness of biophilic design and encourage its widespread adoption through the office design. Bodala Durga Pravallika also wanted to avoid sick building syndrome in the built environment for the better health of employees. The project is Ivy Interior’s Studio that paid tribute to Dr Stephen R Kellert at JD Design Awards.
