KOINA NATH
I am Koina Nath and my JD Imagination Journey gave me an opportunity to communicate with new people. The street photography project helped me understand the style of different individuals. I captured the style of a girl who was dressed in a dress with bomber jacket. rain
I took inspiration from V&A Museum and illustrated a bright and vivid cover image for Vogue.
The fashion styling shoot served as an opportunity to use my voice for the silenced. I wanted to make a statement for women who choose to wear Hijab. I chose a black blazer as my classic element and for the hijab I went ahead with a black chiffon fabric. I also used tape across the face to portray the silenced women.
My inspiration for flat lay shoot was heartbreak. I used a floral printed bag and went ahead with a storyline where a woman finds herself in a bad space as her partner is an infidel. Hence, I used broken petals and a half burnt letter to prop up the bag.
