I am Nageswari, a proud Jediiian who opted for JD Imagination Journey. The global learning program made me more confident about my idea of styling and helped me explore the various aspects of it. The street style photography was about finding that unique individual whose styling catches your eyes. I captured a woman who was wearing a brown leather jacket paired with a black laced cami bra and printed high waist mini skirt. She styled it with fishnet stockings and black boots, accessorising with necklaces and a nose ring.
The Kofi Ansah Design from the V&A Museum was my inspiration for the illustration work. I used the silhouette and prints to create a halter neck beach wear. I gave her cornrows hairstyle and bold red lips that hints at the unique styles that Vogue magazine looks out for.
Doing a Fashion styling shoot was one of the best opportunities where I chose white bodysuit as the classic piece. I used a white and black crochet top with it and paired with red heels. I accessorised her look with a black choker. The overall look was uplifted with bright make-up.
Flat lay styling was all about playing with the angles and highlighting the product in an appealing manner. I chose a blue floral sling bag and placed it on a fabric that highlighted its design. I played with the natural light to capture an aesthetic photograph with the right balance of light and shadow.
