SONIA T JAIN
I am Sonia T Jain and JD Imagination Journey has been an eye-opening experience for me that helped me let go of my inhibitions and explore my creative side. Street photography helped me work on my communication skills and get the perfect picture. The look that caught my attention was of a girl dressed in a cosy puffer jacket and cargo pants paired with a casual top. Her entire attire was in a shade of green that gave her an edge.
The illustration work helped us to identify our inspirations and give way to our ideas. I took inspiration from a beautiful African ankara print outfit as it was colourful with geometric prints. read about the importance of colour in the African community and illustrated the same tor the Vogue cover.
Through the Fashion styling shoot, I wanted to show an amalgamation of femininity masculinity. | chose a white bodysuit that shows the feminine side and a brown blazer to highlight the masculine side. I added a crown with chains and attached to it and went for a soft makeup with bold brown lips.
For the Flat Lay styling shootI chose a pink sling bag. To get the right picture I placed the bag on a white chair and let the sling of it rest on the arms of the chair. I took the help of my friend and asked her to drop petals trom a white rose gently. I captured the still of the bag with petals falling on it and created a perfect picture.
