In Mirrors and Masks, designer MANTRIPRAGADA KEERTHI SUJATHA draws inspiration from the chameleon—an elegant metaphor for human adaptability. Just as the chameleon shifts its colors for survival, connection, and expression, we too navigate life by subtly transforming ourselves in different spaces. This Spring/Summer Pret-à-Porter collection reflects that fluidity—an exploration of identity, transformation, and the delicate balance between authenticity and adaptation.

Crafted using positive and negative space, the garments play with contrast—revealing and concealing, highlighting and softening—mirroring the complexity of human expression. Digital prints, vat dyeing, and greyscale techniques create visual layers that mimic the emotional depth beneath our outer personas. The resulting pieces are bold yet introspective, structured yet flowing—each telling a story of quiet strength and resilience.

Complementing JDDA 2025’s theme – PAUSE, ‘Prioritising a Unique Sense of Ease’With Mirrors and Masks, MANTRIPRAGADA KEERTHI SUJATHA redefines modern pret-à-porter: fashion that is deeply personal, gracefully adaptive, and rooted in self-awareness. This collection invites wearers to embrace transformation without losing their core—to shift, grow, and reflect the world around them while staying unapologetically true to themselves.
