“Padmavyuha” collection is designed by Surya P & Reva K Bhaskar, student from Diploma in Fashion Design at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Kochi and winner of “SPECIAL JURY AWARD ” Award, celebrates an innovative fashion collection rooted in the opulence of Rajputana heritage and reimagined for the modern muse that draws inspiration from the intricate geometry and poetic grandeur of Rajput architecture.
Rooted in the opulence of Rajputana heritage and reimagined for the modern muse, PADMAVYUHA is a Spring/Summer 2025 prêt-à-porter collection that draws inspiration from the intricate geometry and poetic grandeur of Rajput architecture. Named after the mythic labyrinthine battle formation from ancient Indian epics, the collection reflects both strength and elegance — a harmonious dialogue between structure and softness.
Our design language translates the sharp contours of jharokhas, the symmetry of jaali screens, and the layered domes of historic forts into contemporary silhouettes that embrace fluidity and finesse. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted into hand-drawn prints, laser-cut detailing, and textural embroideries, evoking the spirit of old palaces and sun-warmed sandstone. Each piece balances the past and the present, offering lightness in movement while maintaining architectural depth in design.
