Stone Raga by KOVVURI HARINI

Advance Diploma in Fashion Design

Kovvuri Harini’s “Stone Raga” , the winner of the “Best Sustainable Pret Wear Collection” Award, is a tribute to the awe-inspiring 36 musical pillars—ancient granite structures that sing when touched, each resonating with notes of the classical Indian swaras. These pillars, both architectural and musical marvels, are the heartbeat of our Spring Summer 2026 collection.

Drawing from their structured elegance and melodic spirit, “Stone Raga” transforms stone’s silent music into design. Structured silhouettes reflect architectural precision, while surface ornamentation mirrors the intricate carvings that adorn each pillar. Rhythmic patterns, sculpted textures, and fluid detailing bring movement to form—capturing the timeless dance between sound, silence, and craftsmanship.

Blissfully complementing JDDA 2025’s theme – PAUSE, ‘Prioritising a Unique Sense of Ease’,Each piece in “Stone Raga” becomes a wearable composition—a blend of art and science, history and innovation. Like the pillars themselves, every design contributes a note to a larger harmony, inviting the wearer to connect with deeper rhythms, both personal and universal.

Kovvuri Harini’s collection, “Stone Raga,” invites you to listen—to form, to texture, and to the quiet music of the past echoing through every thread.
