Adithya P Parulekar, who is pursuing his MSc in Interior Design from JD School of Design showcased his project ‘Zen Restaurant’ at JD Design Awards 2023- Bangalore edition.

Zen restaurant is a design that is about creating clarity, simplicity and cleanliness in one’s life. Creating a calm space where one enters and feels at serenity was the main aim of the designer. The project is more into natural elements and creating clutter free spaces with contemporary and low profile seatings. 

The challenges that the interior designer faced were spacing the furniture pods and placing the low seating furniture in the project ‘Zen Restaurant’.
