Ecostative is a culmination of two unique products. Taking inspiration from nature, the designers tried to create a realistic product out of materials that are eco-friendly. The resultant products, The Peacock Lamp and the Sofa, were made from eco-friendly materials like coconut shells, bamboo, egg shells, cane, jute thread, kapoka and seed paper. The materials were chosen after much deliberation to ensure that the products were easily available, recyclable and decomposable. The products have a unique way by which they are made, for example the Peacock Lamp was made use of coconut shells cut into various small pieces and sticking them to resemble a mosaic pattern with eggshells for detailing, also for Sofa weaved bamboo fabric was applied and Cane wood was used for the frame which is both eco friendly materials.
