IT’S THE TIME TO DISCO – TALENT DAY AT JD, COCHIN
On 30th of August 2019, JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Cochin, celebrated Talent Day centred around the disco theme.
The Talent Day is a fun event that helps students let their hair down with their peers and faculty. The event was graced by Mr. Nealesh Dalal, Managing Trustee – JD Education Trust and Ms. Sandra Sequeira, Marketing Director – JD South alongwith celebrity judges Mr. Reji Bhaskar, prominent Fashion Photographer; Ms. Neha Venugopal, Playback Singer and Mr. Sooraj, dance choreographer. The participants were wished luck by the judges before the commencement of the performances.
The students were dressed in their best disco era version and the premises were decorated with shimmer, a trend of the era which added the element of fun. The well planned occasion saw some energetic and soulful performances by the students in the form of dancing and singing. The cheering from the audience added to the spirit of the event. The lively acts had everyone tapping their feet and swinging their arms.
The Talent Day was concluded by some encouraging words by the judges and the Management Team who were impressed by the performances and shared their wonderful experience of the event which cheered the students and the faculty. The event was concluded with the announcement of the winners who were felicitated by the guests of honour. The action-packed day came to a wonderful end, leaving everyone in anticipation for the next fun-filled event!
