JD x London College of Fashion|Fashion Styling Experience |Fall edit

The Fall Edition of JD Imagination Journey in association with London College of Fashion, UAL coincided with the autumn season in London which is a peak time for a number of Art , Design and Fashion events and festivals. The students were guided through their styling course by international tutors – Mr. John and Ms. Kerry.

As part of the intensive styling program at the London College of Fashion, the students learned the art of Editorial Styling. Students were given an opportunity to build their first ever international styling portfolio for which they had to work on an editorial shoot wherein they were responsible for the concept building, sourcing garments, props, accessories etc and styling it creatively to create multiple looks for the shoot in tandem with the make-up artist, photographer and model.

“The students who had enrolled for this program were from fashion designing background which helped them use their knowledge of design aesthetics to conceptualize the look of the shoot and helped them understand the nuances of the editorial shoot as a stylist. While we identified the significance of editorial styling in today’s world, we helped them get an International exposure. It makes us proud to provide them with a once in a lifetime experience through this platform. Through this program we have seen their confidence grow and their understanding of styling.
