As the Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2016 is finally over get ready for the new trends that emerged. The man of the next year will love to play with his wardrobe, combining different styles and creating glamour outfits.

  • ANDROGYNY LOOK

Prada, Gucci and Missoni continued to embrace the androgynous look. Collections had techniques and cuts usually reserved for feminine dressing. Collection gave a strong romantic and bohemian vibe o f the 1970s and early 80s which have dominated the previous seasons.

Ferragamo, Prada and Moschino reached out to younger audience with retro graphic prints.

Silk seemed to be the choice of many designers inspired by Japanese fashion. Designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Bottega Veneta designed silk pyjamas which created a huge sensation on the runway.

  • PINK AND LIGHT BLUE ARE THE NEW BLACK

Designers like Gucci, Versace and Cavalli used a rich palette of colors on the runway, in particular the two Pantone colors of this year, rose quartz and serenity.

Fashion got inspiration from the cinema and men were dress like astronauts. From Versace to Calvin Klein, trousers, shirts, bags and coats were all in metallic fabrics.

  • PRINTS, PATTERNS AND EMBROIDERIES

This year the runway was of marvelous printed, patterned and embroidered clothes be it from the over printed Gucci and Roberto Cavalli jackets to the elegant embroideries of Zegna.

To wrap yourself up for the cold winter designers like Bottega Veneta, Emporio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Zegna presented capes, ponchos, coats and jackets.

  • BAGS, BACKPACKS AND CLUTCHES

On the runway designers like Prada, Gucci, Diesel presented hand bags, pochette and backpacks which can truly satisfy both men and women tastes.

Bottega Veneta, Emporio Armani and Prada presented leather jackets and long line coats to add a touch of modernity as well as luxury.

  • HEY COWBOY

Many design houses this time presented cowboy look with plaid shirts and western motifs. Dolce & Gabbana presented shirts with cacti, pistols and sheriff badge motifs. Gucci made a subtle look with ponchos, cowboy look, neck scarves and belts.
