International Women’s Day, 2015


JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore recently celebrated International Women’s Day across all its centers. The day began with an interactive discussion between the faculty members and the students of the various departments on the pertinent and contemporary issues of women’s safety and the multi-faceted roles of women in today’s society. Post panel discussions, the faculty members organized various creative DIY activities, where students were required to design and creative products with the underlying theme of women’s empowerment.
