JD Annual Design Awards 2016 – Untold Stories : INTERNATIONAL FINE JEWELLERY DESIGN STUDENTS
Untold story-A theme very close to the heart and soul of every artisan and karigar….
A theme which celebrates their life story, their passions, their dreams, their tears and their joys. Keeping to the theme, it was discovered that Indian jewellery comprises of numerous larger than life pieces- dynamic and structured jewellery which adorns and accentuates every part of the body – from the head to the toe. The department of JD International Fine Jewellery department married this fact with the international Haute Couture trends.
Our designers have showcased their untold stories by creating exaggerated gears ,which are amalgamated with the Haute Couture trends and have created seem-less and unrestricted jewellery pieces.
This year the JD Annual Awards night will get the opportunity to see JAW DROPPING-LARGER THAN LIFE, MULTI DYNAMIC, exaggerated jewellery pieces, designed and executed by the JD INTERNATIONAL FINE JEWELLERY DESIGN STUDENTS.
- With the canvas comprising the entire body.
- The collections are not generic, run of the mill but is broken into 2 categories-
HEAD GEAR- This will include the following body parts-The head, forehead, ears, neck and shoulders.
TORSO GEAR-This collection will cover the frontal part of the body, waist and the back.
