Bengaluru, 10th March 2026 – JD Institute of Fashion Technology and JD School of Design conducted their Annual Sports Meet 2026, which witnessed the active participation of the students, faculty, and staff for two days. The event occurred in two stages, which were Indoor Games on 28th February 2026 and Outdoor Games on 9th March 2026, with the latter being conducted at St John’s Ground.

The Annual Sports Meet allowed the students to move away from their classrooms and studios and indulge in activities that promoted healthy competition and teamwork. The Indoor Games segment saw the organisation of several activities that helped the students to focus and strategise, which paved the way for the Outdoor Games segment.

The outdoor games organised at St John’s Ground saw enthusiastic participation from the students for various sports activities. The students have shown their competitive spirits by participating in track activities, team games, and recreational sports that have promoted energy, resilience, and teamwork. The whole event was marked by the enthusiasm of the teams, their vibrant performances, and the celebrations as the students supported each other in all the activities, both on and off the field.

Besides the competitions, the Annual Sports Meet has also been a vibrant platform for the students of different disciplines to interact, bond, and appreciate the need for the balance between creativity and physical well-being. It has also stressed the importance of the holistic education of the students of the institute, who are exposed to academic learning as well as activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and healthy living.
