JD School of Design achieved a proud milestone at the 3rd Cycle of the India Skills Competition 2025–26, held on 15th July 2026 at Kala Academy, Panaji, Goa, in commemoration of World Youth Skills Day. The prestigious event brought together industry leaders, educators, policymakers, and emerging talent to recognise excellence in skill development and vocational education across the nation.

A key highlight of the occasion was the felicitation of Mr Nealesh Dalal, Founder of JD School of Design and Managing Trustee of JD Educational Trust, by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant. The recognition acknowledged JD School of Design’s contribution to the 3rd Cycle of the India Skills Competition 2025–26 and its continued efforts towards strengthening design education through practical learning, innovation, and industry-focused skill development.

The felicitation took place in the esteemed presence of Shri Prasad Lolayekar, Secretary, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Goa, along with other distinguished dignitaries. Adding another achievement to this milestone was the remarkable performance of Callista Pereira, a student pursuing B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Design at JD School of Design, who secured the Bronze Medal (3rd Place) at the Zonal India Skills Competition 2025–26.

Callista’s achievement showcases her creativity, technical expertise, and dedication towards fashion and apparel design. Competing with talented participants from across the region, she demonstrated the confidence and skills developed through hands-on learning, expert mentorship, and industry-aligned training at JD School of Design.
