Jewellery Designer Sejal K Rathod for the JD Design Awards 2022 curated the collection Self Alchemy that focuses on healing character of nature. Her journey of JDDA started with her interest in the topic of healing. As nature calms her down, the designer worked more on it and how one can heal their chakras, and treat their physical, mental and emotional illness. With her indepth research in the topic she found that there are 44 different types of healing therapies. (Alprazolam) Moreover the jewellery designer also has a keen interest in raw crystals and crystal therapy.

The crystal therapy of the gemstone treatment represents how the different coloured stones are used to heal the auric bodies and chakras. It helps the person to understand the innate ability to heal.

In her collection there are four pieces that comprises a statement necklace, a brooch, a charm bracelet and a pair of earrings. She used silver as it tends to enhance or magnify the healing properties of the gemstones and helps to get the respective chakras back in balance.

To give shape to her jewellery collection, she had melted 112 grams of silver metal which were in the form of kalash, boxes and pankhi. The purity of the old metal was 70.3%. The natural gemstones that are used in the collection are the stones which have been acquired from factories in Jaipur.

Her mood board also shows how the person can heal in different ways practising yoga, meditation, crystal therapy, acupuncture and more.

Going ahead, the jewellery designer’s marketing strategy is to raise awareness about self healing. Today’s generation is dealing with a lot of stress, depression, anxiety and other health issues but do not admit it openly. With this collection, the wearer can look beautiful while going through a healing process. Moreover, the healing process can be achieved only via natural gemstones.
