Athleticism, femininity and sensuality are the main elements of the collection Smart Athluxury. The collection is created using the concept of “zero-wastage”. Ensuring that the extra fabric from the cut-outs are re-purposed, the collection offers a form of defensible design solution for the environment. Inspired by the geometric abstract paintings of Wassily Kandinsky’s, toda embroidery has been used on balanced woven cotton with a touch of modernism yet retaining and encouraging the traditional art form. The collection brings together a fabric story in the form of knit wear for athleticism, satins and charmeuse for femininity and sheer fabrics for sensuality. The collection is presented by Anthra A & P. LalRinihlui from the B.Sc batch.
