At JD Institute of Fashion Technology, we’ve always believed that creativity thrives when given space to breathe — outside the classroom, beyond the sketchbooks, and on platforms where expression has no bounds. That belief came alive at Jediiians Got Talent 2025, our annual cultural celebration that transformed the stage at Prabhath Kala Sambrama into a canvas of energy, passion, and fearless self-expression.

The event gathered students of all design disciplines, each taking turns in the limelight with performances that mixed tradition with innovation. From soulful singing and energetic solo dances to dazzling group choreography and martial arts, each performance was not only a display of talent but also of confidence, personality, and a strong love for art in every form. It was not just entertainment — it was identity on stage.

Mr Nealesh Dalal, Managing Trustee of JD Educational Trust and Founder of JD School of Design, beautifully captured the essence of the evening when he said, “The Jediiians Got Talent event is the mirror of our students’ infinite creativity and intrepid character. JD does not merely see design in the classroom; it is rather about expression, storytelling, and the bravery to be unique.”

While the stage roared with applause for the performers, the audience was also moved by a quieter, prouder moment — the felicitation of our academic achievers. This year, many students made the JD family proud by grabbing top positions at Bengaluru City University, which proved their dedication and hard work. Tisha N Jain of the B.Sc. Interior Design and Decoration (IDD) batch of 2021 stood atop with a 1st Rank. In the B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design (FAD) 2021 stream, Prerana S V bagged the 4th Rank, whereas Prerana Jain trailed behind with the 5th Rank. The Interior Design stream maintained its success run with K K Manasa achieving 5th Rank, Deepthi Lunia bagging 8th Rank, Rishika P with 9th Rank, and D Sanjana ending strongly with the 10th Rank.

The ovation that followed was not merely for marks or medals — it was for grit, for studious nights of effort, for inventive minds weighing academic rigour against creative gusto. It was a collective moment of pride for every guide, mentor, and friend who had been a part of these odysseys. The affection in the auditorium during felicitation reminded us yet again that JD is not just an institute — it is a family.

As the event reached its culmination, what was left behind was not merely the memory of wonderful performances, but the strong sense of confidence that JD Institute of Fashion Technology is a place where one can dream, do, and dazzle — scholastically, creatively, and honestly. Jediiians Got Talent 2025 was more than a show; it was a celebration of courage, culture, and the incredible creative spirit that defines every Jediiian.
