Zawaj is a bridal collection that is reminiscent of the styles of the Mughals. Unlike conventional fabrics that are normally used to make bridal wear, this collection makes use of cotton fabric and still manages to retain sophistication, luxury and elegance. Plain weave cotton and leno dobby cotton in off-white and cream colour not only brings in a royal feeling but also gives the wearer absolute comfort. (emdrprofessionaltraining.com) Glass aari work has been used as a surface embellishment in the collection. The motifs have been taken from famous jaali designs. The collection is presented by Humaira Fatima from the B.Sc. batch.
