Our students explored the culture, heritage, and legacy of traditional textiles across India. Their research on history and regional craftsmanship was 

transformed into creative presentations.

Case study Visit to BayWindow: 

From form to finish, our Bay Window case study visit offered an in-depth understanding of furniture parts, design styles, materials, and the craftsmanship behind each joinery detail. The visit provided valuable insights into how functionality, aesthetics, and construction come together in well-designed furniture.

Apparel Merchandising – ADFD 2023 

The ADFD 2023 batch successfully completed an extensive and industry-oriented project designed to provide a holistic understanding of the merchandiser’s role throughout the apparel production lifecycle. The project guided students through every critical stage, beginning with concept ideation and brand development. 

they defined brand identity, target audience, and market positioning. Students then progressed to designing a well-structured collection, gaining insights into product planning, fabric selection, costing, and production processes.  

This hands-on approach helped them understand how creative concepts are translated into commercially viable products within the apparel industry. 

Further, students developed strategic merchandising plans and thoughtfully executed visual merchandising concepts that reflected their brand story and market appeal. The project culminated in a professionally curated display and jury presentation, where students showcased their research, creativity, and technical understanding. Overall, the experience bridged academic learning with real-world industry practices, preparing students for the dynamic role of an apparel merchandiser.

We’re proud to present the student display by our MSC 2025 batch, where Fashion Thinking, Design Process, and Illustration came together seamlessly into one integrated learning experience. 

Through this journey, students developed detailed fashion collections by thoughtfully exploring every stage of design. From initial inspiration and concept building to structured process execution and refined final illustrations, each display reflected creativity, clarity of thought, and strong design sensibility. The showcase highlights not just the final outcomes, but the complete design journey, demonstrating how ideas evolve into impactful fashion narratives. 

Fashion, Illustrated: 

The DFD June batch student display is officially live, presenting the Fashion Illustration Display Module 

a creative journey that dives deep into the fundamentals of fashion design and visual storytelling. This showcase highlights the students’ progressive learning and skill development as they move through the core stages of fashion illustration. From mastering human anatomy and pose analysis to understanding movement and proportion, students built a strong foundation for expressive figure drawing. They further explored a wide range of silhouettes, learning how form, structure, and style define a design. 

The journey continued with the art of fashion rendering, where students experimented with textures, fabrics, colors, and detailing to bring their concepts to life. The display culminates in the grand reveal of final illustrations, reflecting each student’s creativity, technical growth, and unique design perspective.

Chrismas Cheer: 

On Christmas Day, we celebrated the festive spirit with joy and togetherness through dance, singing carols, and fun-filled games like musical chairs, Treasure hunt. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and cheer as everyone came together to share the joy of the season. These celebrations created memorable moments, spreading happiness, unity, and the true spirit of Christmas among all.
