Hands-On Creativity: The Clay Workshop  

In our clay workshop, students explored shaping, molding, and designing with their own hands. They started with fundamental forms—spheres, squares, and rectangles—to build a solid foundation. From there, they used their skills to design and mold imaginative pieces, blending technique with personal expression. Each final product was a unique reflection of their creativity. 

Discovering Your Palette: The Art of Colour Analysis 

Ever wondered what colours make you shine? Our students learned just that in an insightful colour analysis session. They discovered how to use colour to express personality and make a lasting impression. 

Students dove deep into the science of color, identifying their personal undertones and discovering their ideal seasonal palette. This analysis showed them how to strategically use color not just to enhance their physical appearance, but to express personality and create a powerful, lasting impression in professional and creative settings. The session provided a key tool for self-expression and confidence. 

Celebrating Together: Teachers’ Day & Onam 

Our campus came Brimming with festive energy as Teachers’ Day and Onam were celebrated together. The day featured cultural performances, traditional attire, and joyful moments that blended appreciation with Heritage. It was a vibrant celebration of Learning, Unity, and Culture that filled the atmosphere with Excitement and Cheer.  

The day was a spectacle of colour and tradition. Lively cultural performances showcased. while students and faculty donned traditional attire to embrace the spirit of Onam, turning the campus into a visual celebration of heritage.

Our students gained essential, hands-on experience in the strategic art of Visual Merchandising—learning exactly what it takes to make a retail space truly shine! The practical journey began with store visits where they analysed real-world displays, understanding consumer flow and brand storytelling.

Who said assignments have to be boring? Our students are proving that creativity knows no bounds, even at college! They embraced a fun challenge: picking three colours with blindfolded and creating a unique art composition. 

Site Visit Insights: Beyond the Blueprint 

We swapped the lecture hall for the construction site today! The best kind of classroom truly is the real world! Our interior design students recently conducted on-site visit to a residential project in progress. Observing how diverse materials, like natural stone, integrate structurally and aesthetically into a cohesive space is a genuine game-changer for their professional development. 

The Rhythm of the Line:  

We took the sketchbook game to a new level! Forget still life—we spent the session capturing pure motion. Our students dove into a project blending the fluidity of dance with rapid, freehand sketching. The goal? To translate the dynamic energy of diverse dance forms onto the page. It’s a challenge that pushes their creativity and speed, demanding they capture the “vibe” and arc of a movement before it shifts.
