In August 2025, JD students explored outdoor sketching, showcased talent in a fashion show, and celebrated Handloom Day with Ms. Parvathy Sastry. A Digital Marketing Workshop by Ms. Shrishti Jaiswal built modern skills, while the Campus Interview Drive connected designers with recruiters. Fashion students displayed creativity in their Draping Module, and Interior students practiced building construction drafting, making the month a rich blend of culture, design, and industry learning.

From Algorithms to Opportunities, Going Digital Made Real. Students at JD Hyderabad gained valuable insights at the Digital Marketing Workshop led by Shristi Jaiswal from our Bangalore Head Office. Building Construction Drafting 

B.Sc. Interior students are building essential skills by exploring building construction drafting. This practical exercise, centred on the complexities of window design, demonstrates how precision and technical knowledge are crucial for translating imaginative concepts into sound, functional design. 

Craft Exploration at Shilparamam  

Interior and Fashion Design students explored Indian crafts, pottery, textiles, and décor at Shilparamam. a day of culture, learning, and inspiration. It was a day where culture met creativity, helping young designers connect heritage with modern design thinking.

A visit to the Salar Jung Museum provided our students with invaluable design inspiration. The collection of ancient artifacts from weapons to intricate carvings, offers a tangible connection to historical craftsmanship, serving as a vital reference for future design projects.
