JEDIIIANS observing world photography Day 2018 with the theme “BE NICE”
World Photography Day is observed on 19th August worldwide every year. Millions of pictures are uploaded every minute in the world. Photography is an art of observation, it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see things, a photograph tells the story without words.
World Photography Day was originated from the invention of the Daguerreotype and further photographic procedure was developed by Joseph Nicephore Niepce and Frenchmen Louis Daguerre in 1837.
From day to day life to unbelievable landscapes, The World photo day witnesses a global gallery of images being captured by people with different levels, skills, knowledge living in a various range of culture and countries.
Every year on the World Photography Day, JD Institute has its own theme. The theme is decided as per the parameters set in accordance with the observance of present world. The theme of World Photography Day on 19th of August 2018 was “BE NICE” based on the CSR initiative, JD Institute of Fashion Technology took a global call to action which is dedicated to encourage and inspire kindness through the campaign “BE NICE”. The objective is to “BENICE to yourself”, “BENICE to others” and love all. This inspired the JEDIIIANS to “BE NICE to themselves” and Students from Photography Department did a theme based shoot “BE NICE” by capturing the best moment of themselves. Happiness is when you are yourself and when we are nice to ourselves everything falls in place… As they say “Awesome ends with me”.
