We also levelled up our Ugadi 2026 Celebrations with all the Traditions and Maximum Togetherness, alongside an App Launch that represents the future of Personal styling. The Ultimate Flex? Our B.Des crew taking hand Painted Geometric concepts straight to the Runway. Idea to impact? 10/10. 

Learning the Art of User-Centric Design:  

A Glimpse Into Our UI/UX Workshop. Students explored the Fundamentals of creating Meaningful Digital Experiences from understanding Color Theory and choosing the Right Typography to building Layouts in Figma. They also got Hands-on Experience with Basic Wireframing, learning how ideas transform into Structured, User-Friendly Designs. 

Legacy Reframed — Translating Heritage Into Contemporary Design: 

A Creative Journey from Timeless Architectural Elements to Modern Design Interpretations. Students visited the Qutab Shahi Tombs, where History came alive through Grand Domes, Arches, and Intricate Patterns. By closely observing Symmetry, Proportions, and Repeating Geometric Forms, they uncovered the hidden Design Logic behind. Each Structure. Inspired by these Elements, Students translated their Learnings into Contemporary Concepts. 

Experimenting with Geometric Shapes to create Unique and Modern Design Outcomes. This Experience beautifully connected Heritage with Creativity, showing how Historical Architecture can inspire Fresh, Innovative Ideas in today’s Design World. 

Tradition, Togetherness & New Beginnings: 

Our Team and Students came together to make this Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram truly Unforgettable. The Celebration was filled with Vibrant Traditions, Joyful Moments, and a Strong Sense of Togetherness that brought Everyone closer. From sharing Laughter to embracing Cultural Rituals, every Moment reflected the Spirit of New Beginnings and Positivity. 

It was not just a Celebration, but a Beautiful Blend of Tradition and Creativity. Where Ideas, Energy, and Enthusiasm came Alive, inspiring us all to Grow and Move Forward with Renewed Passion.

The Final Flex: 

Our B.Des Students brought Geometrical Shapes to Life, taking their Creativity beyond the Canvas and straight onto the Runway. What started as Simple Concepts evolved into Bold Fashion Statements, as Students carefully Hand-Painted Intricate Patterns, experimented with Forms, and transformed Ideas into Striking Outfits. From Conceptualizing Designs to Executing Every Detail, they owned the Entire Process, blending Art, Structure, and Innovation. 

The Final Moment? Stepping onto the Ramp with Confidence and Style, showcasing not just their Creations but their Journey as Designers. 

Stylz App Launch — The Future of Personal Styling: 

On March 14th, the JD Institute of Fashion Technology Students headed to the Financial District for the High-Profile Launch of Stylz. An AI-Powered App redefining the Intersection of Personal Identity and Digital Fashion with our Talented Students playing a Vital Role as part of the Back-End Team for the Launch. The Evening was a Masterclass in Experience Design, featuring a Sleek Runway Show that kept the Energy High. Between the Gourmet Food Spread and the Expert Styling Insights, it was a Perfect Example of how Tech is making High-End Fashion more Accessible than ever, and we are Incredibly Proud Of our Students for their Hard Work behind the Scenes to help make this Innovative Event a Success.
