What does the color of the year mean, and why should designers embrace it?
Color is well-thought-out to be the mother tongue of the subconscious. Every person expresses themselves by a cherry-picking variety of colors. Starting from selecting our clothes to choosing the perfect shade of lipstick and accessories, we are unceasingly trying to look flawless and to convey our individuality and sentiments.
Designers from all streams and consumer brands to keep up with their fast-paced industry change according to the consumers and colors that is during the “Resort” and “Pre-fall,” as stated by Michael Kors. Experimenting with colors and trends allows Designers to experiment with thoughts and ideas which are usually seasonal and can run for about three-to-six months.

industries among others! Now the main question is what does the color of the year mean? What significance does it have? It is essential to understand that color is a fundamental thing. Every color has an implication. Moreover, many brands focus on adopting a specific tone which would enable them to make a style statement adhering to the company’s core values.
Pantone uses several alphanumeric codes to distinguish the different shades of colors and provides the designers with books for fashion and color so that they can start identifying each color with its code and not by the name.
