Registration counters

The COVID-19 vaccination was carried out free of cost by JD Institute of Fashion Technology for its employees for which the employees had to register online. Prior to the vaccination all the recipients had to submit their negative RT-PCR reports. All the safety protocols like wearing the face mask, sanitizing and social distancing were carried out as per the Government mandate during the vaccination drive.

During such times it is imperative to provide all the support required for the employees. Though there is a lot of skepticism and uncertainty during such times and especially around getting vaccinated, it is important to encourage everyone to take the vaccine to ensure that there is reduced risk of exposure to the virus.

Faculty taking the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine

As the country is in the middle of a second wave which has been worse than the first one, the purpose of the COVID-19 vaccination drive was way to help our employees to develop strong immune response against the virus. Everyone is facing the same battle and as responsible citizens we must prioritise getting vaccinated rather than falling prey to the misconceptions and rumors surrounding vaccination.

Post the first round of the COVID-19 vaccination the employees will continue to work from home, remain under self-isolation, avoid work related travel or physical meeting.
