Hi, I’m Saloni Jain — and I’m proud to say that I pursued my BSc in Interior Design and Decoration from JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Today, I stand here not just as a graduate but as a rank holder — a title I owe to the incredible mentors, faculty, and classmates who supported me every step of the way.

When I joined JD, I didn’t know that this place would soon become my second home. The mentorship I received was unmatched — every HOD, every faculty member, and even my peers constantly motivated me to push harder and reach higher. It wasn’t just about learning design principles; it was about growing as a person and a professional.

That said, the journey wasn’t easy. Balancing academic rigour with creative output was challenging. From completing portfolio submissions on tight deadlines to prepping for theory exams, every phase demanded focus and perseverance. There were late nights, tough critiques, and moments of self-doubt — but also breakthroughs, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment I’ll never forget.

What made it manageable — and honestly, enjoyable — was the environment at JD. I was surrounded by individuals who believed in me, who celebrated my wins and stood by me through the setbacks. That made all the difference.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my time here, it’s this: when you’re in the right space, with the right people, nothing is out of reach.
