JD Design Awards 2022 witnessed a variety of collections that were based on the theme Sync. Each designer showcased a unique approach that is futuristic and curates a pathway for the upcoming generation in perfect harmony with nature and technology.

Designers Sandhya JM, Tasmiya Jafri and Chithra SS presented their idea in the best way possible, bringing forth a collection that looked rich and highlighted the beauty of the environment. The designers curated the collection Lush Bloom that is inspired by the flower chocolate cosmos. The beautiful flower is found in abundance in Mexico and is known for its fragrance that resembles chocolate. It has a velvety texture and is mostly of dark shades.

Representing the beauty of chocolate cosmos, Lush Bloom is a collection that uses raw silk for creating the silhouette. Along with the raw silk, designers experimented with organza and velvet. The collection is for 18-28 upper class women and belongs to the category of party wear.

According to designers, “We have used cuts and fabric manipulation on the silhouette. Our colour palette has maroon black, golden and shades of maroon. (Xanax) ” JD Design Awards 2022 gave a platform to the designers to express their creativity in the best way possible.
