A SESSION ON V-RAY FOR INTERIOR AND JEWELLERY DESIGN DEPARTMENT

JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore organized a talk session for Jewellery Design and Interior Design students on 20th September 2019. The session was conducted by Mr. Narayan Shenvi, Partner for V-Ray – Commercial & Technical Support and Mr. Saurabh Shrivastava, Manages & Distributor of VRAY for South India. The purpose was to educate students with regard to the updates on the V-Ray software.

A SESSION ON V-RAY FOR INTERIOR AND JEWELLERY DESIGN DEPARTMENTThe functions and features available on V-Ray create photorealistic images and the rendering speed provides quality output which is made possible with V-Ray’s photorealistic lights, materials and cameras. The software currently exists for  3D Studio Max, Maya, Rhinoceros 3D, Sketchup, Softimage and Blender.

V-Ray Next has been redesigned to make it user friendly, with quick presets and streamlined controls. Its twin-engine rendering makes the best of the latest CPU and GPU hardware. With the addition of new creative tools, V-Ray is able to render design models and detailed 3D scenes. The software has top tools, simplified controls and auto buttons that will make it easier to set up cameras, adjust render settings, manage scenes and create detailing for complex objects.

Mr. Shrivastava advised them to use V-Ray next version as it provides production rendering. He further informed them about student discounts available for V-Ray.
