  1. Understanding of Modular Design Principles: Students should develop a solid understanding of the principles and concepts underlying modular interior design, including flexibility, adaptability, space optimization, and user-centered design.
  2. Knowledge of Materials and Components: Students should gain knowledge of various materials, finishes, and components commonly used in modular interior design, including their properties, applications, and sustainability considerations.
  3. Spatial Planning and Layout Design: Students should develop skills in spatial planning and layout design, including the ability to analyze spatial requirements, develop functional floor plans, and optimize space utilization using modular components and furniture.
  4. Furniture Design and Customization: Students should learn the principles of furniture design and customization within the context of modular interiors, including the design of multifunctional and adaptable furniture pieces that meet user needs and preferences.
  5. Project Management and Collaboration: Students should develop project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design and implementation process of modular interior projects.
  6. Sustainability and Environmental Awareness: Students should understand the importance of sustainability and environmental considerations in modular interior design, including the selection of eco-friendly materials, resource efficiency, waste reduction, and lifecycle analysis.

Knowledge of basic interior designing of spaces; knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred

Eligibility criteria – Students with graduate degree in BSc / post graduate degree in MSc Interior Design, Working professionals – Architects, Civil Engineers Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture
