JD Institute of Fashion Technology campuses in Bangalore and Cochin offer a two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion Communication. This studio-based course integrates theory and workshops to enquire the scope of fashion communication in the contemporary context. Students are familiarised with the fundamental aspects of communication tools such as graphic design, journalism, photography, typography, and so on; and they are supported to develop areas of individual interest and to formulate new methodologies of working which have the ability to expand the potential and role of fashion communication.


The course follows a pedagogy that introduces the cohort to the various fundamental methodologies of fashion communication ranging from history, design thinking, graphic design, forecasting, styling, packaging design, journalism, typography and photography. The two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Communications offered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology:
